Abstract

The engineering background of this study was from Baozhen Tunnel along Yi-Wan Railway Line. Deformation characteristics and influencing factors of surrounding rock in high-level strata pressure tunnel were analyzed using numerical simulation and monitoring data,. The results indicate that after the excavation of the tunnel, the stress concentration emerged in the circumference of the tunnel. The tunnel wall was the area where the breakage was mostly easy to occur. Moreover, the simulation value of displacement was close to the actual monitoring value, and the deformation of surrounding rock was closely related to the tunnel diameter, lateral pressure coefficient λ, depth and the mechanical parameters of rock mass.
