The 32 invited and contributed papers in this volume were presented at the ASME International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition. The papers in this volume were presented in seven sessions, covering a wide range of issues including: constitutive formulations; flow instabilities; wall slip; inverse problems in rheology; suspensions; foam flows; interfacial phenomena; and industrial applications.
