Abstract

We consider the impact of saturable nonlinearity and higher-order dispersions on self-induced transparency amorphous materials. Local linear analysis of the optical beam propagating in the system is made. We go on to investigate the propagation characteristics of ultrafast pulses inside the materials considering frequency chirp associated with each input pulse.
