Research output: Book/ReportBook

Abstract

The book is meant for physicians and biomathematicians as it describes the dynamics of breast tumor in the presence of estrogen supplements. It describes the process via mathematical models in the form of differential equations. The analysis shows that the presence of estrogen supplements to breast tumor destabilizes the system and tumor and hence making it difficult to control tumor dynamics. Numerical simulations were done also ascertained the change in dynamics due to estrogen supplements. Thus results of the book analysis present a danger in the use of hormonal supplements with estrogen in birth control methods as it encourages breast cancer.
