Frequency transformation for realizing longitudinal pseudoelliptic bandpass filters

Abstract

The frequency transformation that transforms an even-order elliptic response from class A into class C in order to realize canonical microwave filters using identical resonators can be further exploited to realize longitudinal microwave filters. The application of the transformation to an eight-order filter is demonstrated.
