N2 - Research activities have been increasing during the past five to ten years in the healthcare sector for orthopedic products. Recent projects undertake the usage and manufacturing of titanium as a replacement material for certain components as a result of its corrosive resistance, high strength-to-weight ratio, and great biocompatibility with the human body. The manufacturing of these products in a customized way can be done through the use of Incremental Sheet Forming. This forming technique has been receiving global attention particularly in aerospace and the automotive industries. The use of this technology can be used to create customized products that are perfectly suited to each individual patient because the anthropometric differences between individuals require specific characteristic such as improved performance and usability.
